Question about Mushrooms
Alright, this is gonna sound like an idiot question, but a friend and I were discussing mushrooms last night and I started wondering. What is the active ingredient in shrooms that make you halucinate and is this substance tested for in your standard urine test?

Also I work in a medical lab that does urine drug testing, it is not tested for.

While different employers, etc. perform different levels of drug testing, I am pretty sure that basically nobody tests for this substance.

psilocybin and/or psilosin are the active constituents in hallucinagenic mushrooms.
most tests will not test for traces of them but some will. the drug is typically out of the system within a few days to a week.
