Default These are your parents on drugs

I've seen the story making the rounds how teens these days are taking fewer drugs, but their boomer parents are increasing their intake of illegal substances, mostly marijuana. Well count me in the pot smoking parent group. I've got 2 sons, one who recently turned 16. We had a good conversation about how dad loves the weed. Better to be open and honest I say. The kids are turning out great, and making A's in advanced math / science courses, involved in sports, scouts, music and more.

Gota disband the DEA and legalize marijuana.. freeking rediculous that alcohol and tobacco are legal but pot (which is much safer than those) is not. The story says almost 15 million adults smoked pot in the last month, and I bet thats way low. Time to end this failed prohibition gosh darnit.

Thank You... Tele

Cool dads are lame. As they say, "there's nothing sadder than an old whore." And baby boomers are self-centered jackasses who are destroying the country with their self-indulgent BS attitudes. I hate them. And their kids are even worse. Little self-centered scumbag sacks of [censored].

Also, "cool" parents raise [censored] kids. It's not that kids need to avoid smoking weed, it's that they need to learn to live within the boundaries of society, which means learning to keep it on the DL. It's the parents' responsibility to make their kids know that there are consequences for certain actions in society. One of those actions is smoking weed or getting drunk underage. When those boundaries aren't set up, the kids act like they're the center of the universe.

In short, you're lame.

That said, weed should be legal. It's stupid that it's not. And I don't even smoke anymore.

Gosh damit, huh?

Seriously, why give governments another source of tax revenue?

If you're so cool, take your whole family and fly to the Netherlands.

Tele - Do you actually smoke in front of your kids? I don't think that's right. I don't mean to tell you that you're a bad parent since it sounds like your kids are turning out great, I just think it sends the wrong message. Also, it might be weird for them.
