Default Song Played at the beginning of ESPN\'s WSOP coverage

Does anyone know what song is played in the background at the beginning of ESPN's WSOP coverage when Norm and Lon are doing their intro? It starts off with a harmonica and twangy, slow guitar and then begins to jam. I cannot for the life of me find out what the name of the song is and the artist who plays it. Any help would be great.

I'm not sure (it may be custom music done for ESPN - they save on royalties that way) but in his latest podcast, Phil Gordon claims to hear that music in his sleep (it also opens the podcast).

While we're asking about WSOP songs, any name for the opening song of the first and last ME episodes last year?

Not sure about last year. I'll try to find out if they air it this weekend on ESPN Classic. I sent an e-mail to my buddy who is a producer at ESPN about the WSOP background music. Hopefully he can come thru. If he does, I'll post it here.

There was another song played on the promos last year called "feelin' good". Maybe you're thinking of that. I don't know who recorded it...

I'd appreciate that too. My son just got his first electric guitar and commented on the opening song just last night.

My friend who is a producer at ESPN just mailed me a disk with all the songs that are played on ESPN's telecast of the WSOP. I can either e-mail you the 3 tracks, or figure out a way to upload them to a website so everyone can download them.
