WA/WB turned river decision (call, r/f, r/c) situation??
Villain is a *total* unknown. First orbit.

Re: WA/WB turned river decision (call, r/f, r/c) situation??
it's pretty thin. if he has hands like AJ/AT in his range it's probably bad. if he can bet/fold KQ here it's terrible. if he'll call with TT you must raise.
if you assume his range is exactly AQ/QQ/AK/KK/KQ, he will call with everything, raise boats, and never bluff raise, raise/call is barely EV+ over just call (+.07BB). |

[grunch]
Raise and call a 3-bet. He'll frustration-call a lot w/KK, KQ and maybe JJ. If you get 3-bet, you'll be getting 11:1 to call and I think you're going to be toast nearly all the time, but I never fold here vs an unknown. Once I see what he has, I adjust later. Tom |

I'd just call.

I probably just call it because I lose two bets a lot when behind and don't win much when ahead if he will fold JJ/TT.

[/ QUOTE ] I was counting KQ already.. if you add AJ/JJ that's only an extra two good combos and the change in ev is negligible. if he starts 3betting with AK or folding JJ we're really in trouble. I like calling. |

I hit the call button a split second before thinking "oh, is raising better?" and came here to post. Villain had A5o so I would have made a couple more bets, but it seems like the jury is out. Now have a read on villain's 3betting range. |

Re: Results
Pete,
pretty obviously a raise against this guy, but I'd still call against a total unknown. |

I like a raise, Peter. Call a three-bet.
