Default $11 6-handed: Always short on the bubble

I find that I often arrive at the bubble with a stack close to the startchips (2000). Basic TAG play gets me there, but then I seem to be [censored] against two bigstacks.

Assuming that I have like 80% top3 finishes (I don't have anything near a statistically significant number of games yet), should I just be happy and accept that from that point on it will be a luck of the draw ? Or should I focus on getting a larger stack pre-bubble ?

Any comments ?

That is fairly standard, everyone donks off their chips to one another early on. Unless you pick up some big hands, you aren't going to win much early. Just play a good TAG style early and pushbot properly later and you'll be fine.

just curious, what kind of sample size are we talking about?

i havent dabbled too much into the 6 handed sngs.... but I think that's pretty standard.
