First hand at the table, no reads on the villain, no stats either.
On the turn I figured him for a two pair, smaller set or a flash draw - 2 of those (2 pair and small set) I figured would pay me off - I didn't think the flush draw would and I couldn't put him on a set of queens with the earlier action. Only thing I don't heaps like was the size of the flop bet - should have maybe made it $7 or $8... -------- Sorry about hand history - I'm bonus whoring on the Boss Network and haven't found a converter...-------- Villain is at seat 3 with 44.02 Hero is at seat 4 with 49.50 Hero posts the large blind 0.50 Villain posts the small blind 0.25 Hero Dealt: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pre-flop: UTG: Fold CO: Call 0.50 Button: Call 0.50 Villain: Call 0.50 Hero: Raise 2.50 CO: Fold Button: Call 2.50 Villain: Call 2.50 Flop (Board: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]): POT SIZE: $8 Villain: Check Hero: Bet 5.00 Button: Fold Villain: Call 5.00 Turn (Board: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]): POT SIZE: $18 Villain: Bet 12.50 Hero: Raises All in Villain: Calls All in River (Board: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) Result Below: Hero shows: Jc, Jh (three of a kind, Jacks) Villain shows: 4d, Kd (flush to the King) Standard or spew? |

This is standard. I'd make it ~$7 on the flop but the rest is fine. nh

I'm sorry, where is the spew supposed to be? You got it in with the second nuts. Like you said, bet closer to pot on the flop, makes getting it in on a safe turn easier. I disagree that a flush draw isn't paying you off on the turn on push. Virtually any hand that leads that turn is calling a push.
Don't post results. |

It would've been raised pf so I wouldn't be too worried about it as you said. The flop bet should be bigger, as said. Above that this is as standard as it gets. Nice hand. |
