so let me get this new WPEX thing straight

Things have apparently gone from bad to worse at WPEX. When i try to download the new update i get errors in german. I think i would be willing to pay rake for 1 week so you guys could hire someone with more than two weeks experience in software development.

Not to mention pulling this off without contacting the people from pokertracker to help make the transition a smooth one. For a big time company i am a little shocked at how this is being handled.

sorry for repeating but I'm not quite sure and haven't played at the NEW WPEX yet.

So will it import from the hard-drive to pokertracker (even without the opponent names) or are we just waiting for an update?
I saw someone say that PT reads it as a play-money game somehow, but I don't know if that means it's importing it and I don't know if that means it's only happening for him or if it is happening for everybody.


I'm going to try to set it up and get going on it but I'll hold off on the PT thing if I learn that we're all waiting for an update.

It will not import to PT from the hard-drive for me. It says they were not imported because they were play money games.

Poker Tracker Update

I have a WPEX account but have never deposited on it. I was going to deposit as soon as they made histories on the hard drive.

With no names in the HHs, it looks like I'll never be depositing there now. Not being able to track anything with PT, or being able to even review my sessions, is absurd.

Well the numbers will speak for themselves.. if WSEX doesnt really grow then we'll know that they made the wrong move. If they do start growing then we know they made the right move..

I dunno. It doesn't seem possible for a change like this to inspire any significant growth -- the nature of the change is not particularly marketable. It is appealing to some 2+2ers, but it's not going to be the thing that drives a lot of traffic to the room.

If WSEX happens to hit some growth, I would look for another explanatory effect before I would ever consider attributing it to this.

The only people this update makes happy are the ones who think HUDonks are satan. They will never gamboool on the side with their hard-earned money. WPEX will learn that this is not the way you do things.

This update makes me happy, and I've run over $2k through the sports book and casino.
