Default Simple preflop/flop hand...

Really simple situation here but I'm not sure what the best way to handle it is.

Game is NL $50 6-max, effective stacks are 100 BBs. A nit with a PFR of 6 raises UTG+1 to $2. It's folded to me in the SB, I reraise to $7. He calls. Flop is 466, I lead for $11, he shoves, I fold...

With a PFR of 6 his range is already pretty narrow. Since he called my reraise I wouldn't expect him to have anything less than AK. I can't imagine such a tight player shoving with less than queens here. Should I have even bet the flop?

EDIT: Yeah, I think I need to say my cards are QQ... sorry.
