5th was best case scenerio here....they both caught as bad as they could have.

I would never fold 6th with what is now the best low draw against the players you describe.

then i definitly like your line.

he is apparently stupid thinking you're folding 6th in a pot this big repping aces up or a made low.

i dont understand his thought process. possibly hoping for a free river showdown if unimproved?

what if he bets river?

Default Re: RESULTS

Looks standard to me. I like to play live pockets when I have a baby up, especially against players who will pay me off when things break right, and even more so if they are knowledgeable enough to try to punish me when I appear to brick (since I can either make what appears to be a crying call or a fold depending on how the hand comes down). A good deal of your profit at this game will come from hands that appear to be low but are high.

Also, I would have considered raising on 6th at first, but then would have decided against it. My thinking is that the pot is so large you're probably not going to fold for a single bet even if you brick out since there is some chance that tens might be good, but if you catch the case ten you can make an extra bet and you get your money back if you make a low. But it seems too unlikely that improving to tens up won't be good. Since he's making a completely illogical bet against you (even if he had AA he should c/r), it is very likely that he does in fact have AA88. If, for example, he had caught a 6 and bet into you, I think it's an easy raise since he cannot be full.
