Can people beat the 5/10 for 2BB+ anymore?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm interested to see replies on this one. I have about 40 guys with over 5K hands at 5/10 and only 2 of them are winning over 2BB. And one of them is crap!

I'd consider playing 5/10 at party if a) i had the BR and b) i didn't blow at cards. c) somehow could get rakeback like it seems everyone else has

You seem to have the same issues as my roommate on where you place your aggression. It seems your flop/turn aggressions are flip flopped. Turn aggression should be higher than the flop aggression (although I don't have my database at work so you may not need to tone down the flop much).
Be happy you are steadily making money but that would be my suggestion. Changing your postflop play is never easy especially after your plays are probably automatic by now. I'd try to include a few more hands (look for ones that you haven't been playing preflop but are showing profit). Not that you should double your VPIP or anything, but you could loosen up a little preflop and not always be in the Raise or Fold mode as much. Just see if you have a more optimum VPIP by adding a few speculatives in your hand selection.
This doesn't mean don't adapt either, let the speculative hands go on extremely aggressive tables, which are pretty much the norm, so you aren't charged an arm and a leg for hands that are speculative in nature. You'll still find plenty of tables where free cards reign supreme and if you are too tight you are losing profits by not entering more pots.
