Lonesome Day / Merle Haggard

Oh, another social casualty
Score one more for me
How could I forget?

Naomi
Neutral Milk Hotel

-----------------------------------------------------

A TONE DEAF ANGEL
DRUNK IN THE AFTERNOON
STAGGERED DOWN THE STREET
IN HER COWBOY BOOTS
SINGING SOME DEAD SOLDIER'S TUNE
SHE TRIED TO PUT UP RESISTANCE
DIDN'T HAVE NO SWORD OR SHIELD
EVERYTHING SHE HAD LOOKIN' PRETTY SAD
SQUANDERED OVER THE BATTLEFIELD

Sonic Dada - Lights Out

There's a fine line between love and hate
And I don't mind
Just let me say that I like that
I like that

I have never heard of any of these songs, and I've only heard of a couple of the artists.

Breaking Benjamin - Diary Of Jane

Let's go with an oldie but goodie:

You slide so good
with bones so fair
you've got the universe
reclining in your hair.

cheers,

Shauna

BTW, Cypress Ave/Madame George is the same song:

"Down on Cyprus Avenue
With a child-like vision leaping into view.
The clicking clacking of the high-heeled shoes,
Ford and Fitzroy; Madam George."

I listen to it a lot, it's on one of my favorite soundtracks

Oops, you're right. I always assumed that since cypress avenue is mentioned in the lyric that it was the same song.

I really need to get this CD, it's got some great tracks.

Some more from the song I put up:

Just like a car you're pleasing to be hold
I'll call you Jaguar if I may be so bold

Shauna
