Yea, sorry about that. i thought it was a conspiracy against me. i locked my doors and windows.

i changed schneids to black. then saw there was a MOD forum. then saw this thread. then changed him back to normal.

poker-penguin (thread) should probably be. AsiaKurosawa from Games Grid hasn't been around much the last couple months, maybe she's not anymore.

Although it's a very good idea, I would prefer to confirm with them first that they are "Official Reps", as against simple "Employees".

The reason for this involves another employee.

I asked poker-penguin to include in his profile the fact that he worked for a particular site after he had commented in a thread about that site, in order that readers could evaluate his comments, accordingly. He complied, willingly and immediately.

A little later he sent me a pm telling me that his Marketing Manager had read the thread and had gone ballistic, that p-p was commenting without official sanction. He told me it was actually touch and go whether he might lose his job over it.

I told him that if he gave me his word that he wouldn't join in other threads about his or other sites then I would be happy if he removed his employee status from his profile in the circumstances, and he agreed, totally, saying that if he remained a poster at 2+2 he would be making more than sure that he made only personal posts in future rather than risk further wrath from his boss.

In a similar vein, although sciolist has joined in with Stars discussion threads, he has said his views were personal and not necessarily the official line of Stars. (I guess he has a more liberal boss than p-p has!)
