Flopped trips against maniac; capped turn; river call or raise?
CO is a maniac. He's raising and 3-betting pre-flop with Q5s, K7o, etc. 65o button steal that he leads all the way through the river as a pure bluff, no pair, no draws. SB is somewhat loose and passive.
10/20 4-handed. Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button. Pre-flop: CO raises, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, BB calls, CO calls. Flop: (4 handed; 12SB): J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 checks, CO bets, Hero raises, SB calls, BB folds, CO calls. Turn: (3 handed; 9BB): 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, CO bets, Hero raises, SB folds, CO 3-bets, Hero caps, CO calls. River: (2 handed; 17BB): 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] CO bets, Hero ? Do you call or raise here? |

World's easiest raise/reraise. If you're posting because you lost this particular hand, rest assured you'll come out ahead over the long term by raising here each and every time.

Re: Flopped trips against maniac; capped turn; river call or raise?
Sometimes a post is made that is so obvious that you just have to change the question. Of course you raise, now assume that there is no cap on the betting. How many bets do you go?
