NL100: Flopped set, should I slowplay?
BB is 70/18/0.4, big callingstation who had previously called an all-in overbet by me where I showed the nuts. UTG is solid TAG maybe 2+2. How do I extract value here? I had been playing pretty tight at the table (15/10/2.5), and UTG said "33/88 100%" in the chat before folding so this was probably not the best way

Re: NL100: Flopped set, should I slowplay?
This is a spot where slowplaying is fine. The pot is already big so getting the money in should be easy. Shoving is really bad. Making a normal raise >>>>>>>>>>> shoving.

Re: NL100: Flopped set, should I slowplay?
Oh man I flat call this kind of bet a lot of the time. I think overbetting the pot is the absolute WORST thing you can do here!!! Why do you want to overbet on a drawless board where you have the second nuts?

Re: NL100: Flopped set, should I slowplay?
why would u push this flop?
Flat call and look to c/r the turn and then maybe u could justify an ai on the turn but this is just way to much with a monster hand |

Re: NL100: Flopped set, should I slowplay?
This is one of my big leaks, I get so excited and can't wait to get my money in there when I flop a huge hand. This is probably magnified by running bad and being scared of getting outdrawn.

Re: NL100: Flopped set, should I slowplay?
next time think about ur raise compaired to the raise in front of u and compared to the pot
ur raise was massive compared to the 20 dollar raise in front of you...nobody should put u on less than a set |

Lead Flop also gets more money in.

Re: NL100: Flopped set, should I slowplay?
omg call and lead ANY turn for 35 (1/3rd or 1/2 pot bascially depending on BB).
