You lay this down when he is not an unknown.

Okay here is what you beat that reraises you preflop: jacks and a whiffed AK.
How likely are those hands here? Does he keep firing with jacks? With AK? I'd personally be raising the flop for sure. On the turn you have absolutely no idea what to do, and it's because you just called the flop. |

where's the option for reraise preflop, lead flop?
also - if the villian is a completely unknown, his hand range is fairly large (its 2/4 nl @ pp...). Devoid of reads, he could have any number of hands that you still beat. folding either of those streets is a bad idea the way you played it. |

[/ QUOTE ] Given the fact that I'm raising from the SB where I have the worst position in the hand and villain is reraising the SB from the BB, I'm narrowing his range quite a bit. I won't say what I have his range to be yet, but I definately think its more narrow than most would think. |

I raise more preflop and probably 4-bet as we are OOP. 2 limpers and you are OOP and you make it 22, are you trying to be in a 3 way pot with KK OOP?

If you're just going to call preflop (which I don't like OOP), then you should be c/r this flop. Since the BB started with <100BB, I wouldn't be hesitating getting the money in.

folding either of those streets is a bad idea the way you played it. [/ QUOTE ] Villain could easily have AQ, JJ or air (trying to push you off your hand). Just calling preflop and then calling the flop doesn't show alot of strength. Villain may very well be thinking that a hand worse than KK is good because of the way you played it. Also, villain's flop bet looks really weak. |
