Default bat file problems with Ongame

I set up some mods for PokesPoker using the instructions in this thread and it worked fine on my computer. My brother liked it so I tried to set it up on his computer too. However when I try and create the bat file I don't get the pop up message (If you change a file name extension, the file may become unusable) like I did on mine and it stays in a text format. He uses XP like me. Any ideas why I can't change this file to a .bat file? Thanks as I'm a computer idiot.

It may be because on his computer he does not have it set to show the file extensions for known file types. In My Computer, go to Tools>Folder Options> then click the View tab, and then uncheck "Hide file extensions of known file types."

See if that works...
