Re: New Software- IdleMiner
[ QUOTE ]
Please add a feature that will datamine only monster tables. 10/20NL tables that aren't monster are not very fishy. [/ QUOTE ] I second this. Monster tables are a world of their own with very different play and player makeup. I'd like to be able to only profile Monster tables. |

Re: New Software- IdleMiner - Suggestion
Probably more useful for SNGs, but sometimes while datamining, I know I'll be stopping in, say, 30 minutes (e.g. because I want to play soon, or will be taking my notebook computer home).
Rather than waiting until I leave and simply stopping, it would be nice to have a "fade-out" mode - IM continues to mine the open tables, then closes them when the tourneys end, but does not open any more tables. Cheers, Carl. |

Re: New Software- IdleMiner - Suggestion
Quick question about the licenses. How many different computers are we allowed to run it on?

Re: New Software- IdleMiner - Suggestion
If you would like to have IdleMiner "fade out" when you start to play I encourage you to use manual operation mode. When you click this IdleMiner will cease to open and close tables automatically. That way you can just close then as they finish while you are playing.
Dazarath, we currently allow two installs. |

Re: New Software- IdleMiner - Suggestion
Prob ably missed this but just found the thread:
If I want to datamine on my laptop and then move the HH from the laptop to my PT on my main desktop, what would be the best way to do this? The 2 computers are on a wireless network... thanks. |

Re: New Software- IdleMiner - Suggestion
After the latest update (1.41), "Stop and close tables" doesn't work for me. It stops mining hands, but it doen't close the tables. It has worked before ever since it was introduced. The log output when it happens is this:
CLIENT FATAL: Could not write to named pipe SERVER: Created named pipe SERVER: Created named pipe for relay |

Re: New Software- IdleMiner
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] just one thing: could you have an option to save the files idleminer creates as .hhf? that way they would automatically be recognized as observed hands by pokertracker and imported into the correct database. [/ QUOTE ] nobody have a problem with that? I still love idleminer but its a little complicated getting everything into the right database. don't you guys have seperate databases? also if its a .hhf I can tell PT to not save the actual hand histories which saves a lot of disk space. [/ QUOTE ] I hate to harp on this, but is there anyway this can be done? Obviously it's not a major issue when only datamining, but while playing and mining, it's difficult to keep played hands and mined hands in their respective databases. |

Re: New Software- IdleMiner
We are adding a feature to save hands in the .hhf format. Look for it in the next patch.
