1) not sure, CO may be making a play at the pot, so a call down offers 4-1.

2) definite no

3) yeah, but expect to lose assuming your stats are right. If this is over a >100 sample then yes. If not then he may not be the maniac his stats imply. The A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] actually hurts you, not improves you.

yup but the calling of the c/r is a shocker. I posted about my proclivity to call river c/rs and win no more than 5% of the time. A river c/r is a big deal, think about when we do it and what with hands; think about your villain and what they do. You have to be pretty insane or brilliant to c/r bluff a lot of rivers.

Yeah it was definately a terrible call. In a bit of a downswing lately. wtsd < 30 and w@SD under 50, and I feel like every turn and river raise are my opponents knowing I am folding a lot. And sometimes, I can't believe that whatever they hit got there, so I call. Cuz I am dumb. And I wanted to see waht he had. ATo in hand 1. Q9o in hand 2. Q2o in hand 3. MHING x 3.

PH,

I think you are right. Getting check-raised at the river is a blow to my ego, so I call, expecting to lose... and lose. When passive opponents check-raise me, it's an easy fold, but I absolutely hate when aggressive opponents check-raise me at the river when I have a mediocre hand and the pot is around 5 BBs. I always feel I'm getting played back at, which is why I call so often.
