his hand seems pretty transparent after the pf call and flop call. what is the opponent going to put him on after the flop call that still allows him call the river with a worse hand? if your main reason is to block the river, i'd bet less and give QQ a chance to make an easier call. think the only value you're squeezing out of a villian comes from a check/call on the river. [/ QUOTE ] I'd be fine with betting smaller if you don't think it is transparent, but good opponents pick up on this and will bluff raise you out of your seat. lol because he will be value betting QQ on the river against someone who called 3bets cold preflop and then a flop pot bet on a K high board? |

Re: Deep 5/10 AKo OOP
This is a spot that even I'd like to 4-bet preflop.

Re: Deep 5/10 AKo OOP
Yea I agree that is preferrable to cold calling, especially if CO is known to reraise light. However here, he is reraising an UTG raiser and I think I'd just let it go.

[/ QUOTE ] of course not. i think you'll get more money by inducing a bluff than by betting yourself is all. do you think most opponents will call with a worse hand more often than they'll bet one in this situation? |
