Default 1/2 JJ - cap pre-flop? How to proceed unimproved?

This is a hand that came up in my session review. The table has been tight sometimes and loose sometimes but in every case aggressive.

Getting 35:3 I'm tempted to see the turn because of the size of the pot. Set over set is possible but your read doesn't make me think anyone has KK. Turn fold is easy ui.

I raise MP1's bet and fold to aggression.
Anyway, nice fold.

You're not getting enough value capping preflop. With that number of callers you can no longer expect your JJ will hold unimproved. I'm not sure about the flop however.

Shirley, you can't be serious!

You realize that you're FIFTEEN BIG BETS short of the immediate odds you need, and that you'll have to make all that up? The only way you are is if someone has KK. No way do you have odds to peel here.

We have less than 1.5 outs to the set I'd say.

With so many people I doubt we'll be good very often. The pot is so big we to win we'll have to show down the best hand (read by spiking our jack and no one playing QT and no heart draw comming in).

It's an easy call of one bet after the flop but in the face of all that it's a pretty straight forward disciplined fold.

Yes it's sad you ain't getting value for your jacks but the thought of being in a game where it gets capped 5 ways should really make up for this.

*grunch from the cheap seats*

With a backdoor flush/straight draw, 2 outs to a set and 35 bets in the pool already you need around 8 to 1 to continue and you are getting 11 to 1 to see the turn calling 3 bets.

I am pretty sure you want to see the turn here.
