Default Marginal valuebet...

Villain is like 78/18/2.5.
I have a leak because I always seem to miss valuebetting this river...

Looks OK. This one isn't a spot where I want to build a huge pot and I'm not that sure about value-betting the river.

Half pot's good. This guy'll call you with a lot of hands you beat. Against a tighter opponent I'd be more likely to check.

I think you MIGHT get a call out of 88-77, but every worse hand than that is folding. Very marginal indeed.

not that marginal of a value bet here, you'll get calls from 77,88, 56, 67, A5, 6x. He's a donk, theres no reason to think your behind, so value bet it.

and reraise preflop

Meh, this is very thin indeed. You're certainly well ahead of his current range, but not far ahead of his calling range. If he could ever check-raise on a bluff I wouldn't value bet this.
