I play pokerstars. Could anyone look at my internet logs and tell I have been slacking off, or would they just see some odd unidentifiable traffic?

The solution is to become a good enough player to build a big enough roll to play big enough stakes so that you can make more being a fulltime player than you do in that job and then quit. Until that happens, since you most likely need the money that job pays, you should be applying yourself to it before you lose it instead of slacking off in any manner.

If you go to logmein.com, you can play at work and the boss will only see that you at logmein.com. Tell him you have an important file at home if he asks.

Pretty tricky! Would gotomypc also work for this sort of thing?
I'd have to agree with one of the other posters that you're better off working at work and playing at home. |

Most likely they can tell, unless it's a tiny company that isn't as sophisticated. My first job out of college found me at a small mom and pop shop. I was stuck behind my desk all day and it wasn't much fun (this was back when planetpoker was the only game to play online). I double dipped by playing while I was working. I did quite well, but it was a little stressful since I had to make sure that screen wasn't up whenever someone came in. I got by for over a year doing it and I'm sure they had no idea.
I guess it depends on what kind of job it is and whether or not you can afford getting fired! |

Is logmein.com any good? Does it actually make it seem like you are actually using your comp?
