50NL - Deep QQ OOP with history
Villain is 32/16 but it's only over 20 hands. 2 hands ago, I doubled up through him after I raised 35s from the button, he made a pussy reraise from the BB and I turned a straight to beat his AQ. He's probably pretty pissed.
Comments on all streets appreciated. Does anyone prefer c/r on the flop? Re: 50NL - Deep QQ OOP with history
I would rather lead the flop and go from there. If we get raised heavily, we give him credit and fold. If he calls, we go from there and probably c/c a reasonable bet.

Re: 50NL - Deep QQ OOP with history
Agreed. I likely re-raise to 12 pre-flop. Re-raise by villain and you're likely looking at KK or AA. And if he only calls the 3b I lead out psb after flop.
I don't think you ever see a turn going that route. As it stands, he's not afraid of a draw here it smells like a set. I fold the turn as played. |

Re: 50NL - Deep QQ OOP with history
If you are going to c/c the flop you effectively encouraged him to try to outplay you thinking you opened light.
Lead the flop or CR. Show him you like your hand. The way you played the hand, I would call the river and expect him to show 8-6 for a str8. The pain of the loss reminds me to play stronger. |
