Method Man - 4:21... The Day After
This is a very good album. Obviously it isn't a classic like Tical or early Wu-Tang, but it also obviously isn't Tical 0... Upon first listen, I would rank it slightly above Blackout! Though it might not be Meth's best work of all time, it is certainly in the upper echelon of albums released in 2006. Word. |

Cool, I might have to pick it up. Speaking of Wu [censored], if you haven't heard the new Masta Killa record I suggest giving it a listen. It isn't as good as No Said Date but still some good stuff with a bunch of Wu guest appearances.

I have a hard time beliving this is any good. Meth along with Red have been so lost for the past 6-7 years. Basically every verse is the same wackness over some inane garbage beat by some 5th rate Wu producers brother.

Method's flow is tight, and the lyrical content isn't mind-blowing but it is enjoyable and oftentimes clever. As for 5th-rate producers, some guys named Scott Storch and The RZA produced several tracks between the two of them on this album, I don't know if you've ever heard of them. |

Either way i dont care to hear Meth over Paris Hiltons gay lover, hes good for a decent club song and thats about it now. I might peep the RZA tracks tho. |

[/ QUOTE ]you have a problem with Scott Storch beats? He is use to play keyboards for the Roots back in the day, but I guess he realized he could make more dough making beats. I think Storch has been killin it lately. |
