Re: beat: living in the deep south
Okay, I'll stand up for the South.
Poisoned, Yankees, and transplanted others living in the South: It's a free country, feel free to leave. Leave the women, football, BBQ, whiskey, etc. to those who enjoy it. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Beat: Can't buy alcohol (outside of the bars) on Sunday [/ QUOTE ] What? What state do you live in? [/ QUOTE ] MN also has this law. Good thing I'm close to Wisconsin where drunk driving is encouraged and liquor stores are open 24 hours a day. [/ QUOTE ] Best part of Vegas is buying beer and wine at gas stations. Tokyo is the absolute best. No open container laws, whiskey and vodka in gas stations. |

[ QUOTE ] Beat: Can't buy alcohol (outside of the bars) on Sunday [/ QUOTE ] What? What state do you live in? [/ QUOTE ] In Georgia you cannot buy alcohol on Sundays except in a bar, and they cannot serve until 12:30pm and must sell 50% food (or BS it) or be in a hotel to serve on Sundays. Many counties are still completely dry on Sunday and two counties are still completely dry 24/7/365. |

Re: beat: living in the deep south
Wow, I'm from Louisiana, and I guess we're the state in the South that encourages drinking far more than any other. In fact, excuse me while I go grab a daiquiri from the drive-thru.
