Default Re: kurosh hand from bbv

First, I think you have a pretty easy fold to the first bet on the flop. Given the action to this point, you have to think you are behind (easily behind enough that you will not showdown without improving).

Yes, if you know a Q will be good, you could argue that you have the about the right odds with implied odds to draw. The problem, though, is three-fold... first, you are not closing the action, and the guy behind you, the preflop capper, is a HUGE threat to raise. Second, a Q may not be good. 2 players now have done nothing but bet and raise at every opportunity they've had. You can easily be up against KKK or AAA at this point. Finally, you can catch, take the lead, and still lose, as a river A K J or T will all complete lots of the potential hands you might be beating should you get lucky and take the lead on the turn with a Q.

In fact, I think there is a case that you could fold getting 23:1 the 2nd time around too, based on the high liklihood that a Q is no good or good but then outdrawn. Much much closer there though of course.

After that, the hand plays itself. Obviously when you see the hands, you make notes and change your strategy in the future. It looks like a pretty good game. :P
