In the Amsterdam 10/20 Euro limit game, raked is 5% up to 20 euro!

[/ QUOTE ]

In the Barcelona 20/40 game, I think it's like 10% uncapped. I'm not even kidding.

[/ QUOTE ]

that is DISGUSTING

Carnival Cruises offers 5/10 limit holdem with 10% uncapped rake. Saw several $40+ drops.

no way. he just said the rake is $72. i take that to mean the time charge. it is common to call a time charge "rake".

Wow. All this time I'd mistakenly believed Britain had a free-market economy.

party rakes that high because they can, and what are you going to do about it? it sucks, but remember that online poker is still cheaper than B&M poker.

i was absolutely flabergasted that the rake in the 20/40 game at bay101 got bumped up to $5. it makes the game almost unplayable.

and i feel really bad for the euro players because their rake is just ridiculous.

[/ QUOTE ]
How does a 5 dollar rake on a 20/40 game make it almost unplayable? My B&M rakes 5 bucks from its 3/6 and 6/12 tables and the games are still playable (3/6 barley).
