Founded Sobe Beverage
I founded Sobe with John Bello. I will tell you that it took a ton of bootstrapping. One of your partners Billy Walsh had a son who had just graduated from college, and really took an interest in marketing, and he was one of the reason why the SOuth BEach Beverage company made it pretty big. He went all over the country with a van setting up simple marketing booths building brand recognition. It takes a lot of capital, and investors who are willing to continue with rounds of successive financing. A lot fail because the industry is heavily saturated, but in our case Pepsi bought us out for $370 and it was really exhilirating.

If you don't mind, what kind of capital are we talking here? Also, how long did it take you from start to profitability and eventual buyout? |
