25NL 6m- Proper push on double paired board?
Do I value bet here or just push? I clearly chose to push, but just making sure a smaller bet (PSBish) isn't the better play.
Villain is UTG and had almost two buyins when I sat down. I sat down because I saw a few hands where he minimum bet into a 10+BB pot, once with ace high, so I figured he probably stumbled upon his chips. We got into a pot on the very first hand where he played a flopped TPTK and turned two pair very weakly, I turned a smaller two pair and lost about 20BB to him. With your reads on him, I'd say you made the right move, I'd probably value bet it agaisnt anyone else though.

Push is fine. I think K, 6 or > 66 calls you here often enough for this to be the best play.
FYI, if you raise pf to something like 1.50 instead this hand plays out much nicer. You bet $3 on flop, ~$7 on turn, then the pot is > $20 and you have ~$15 left. Your push on the river is much more reasonable. Just wanted to point out how a small change in your game makes a big difference in this hand. |

waht's the zeebo theorem? [/ QUOTE ] Nobody folds a full house, ever. So pushing is good here. |

I'd been open raising to $1 pretty much the entire time no matter what, so I kept that going. But I do see the point of controlling the pot size to make the all-in look better. |
