PP 50 NL 6 max JTs
Villain in this hand was something like 33/7/2. He was on a shortish stack, so I didn't have the implied odds to call the flop and draw to my straight. I'd guess I was up against some sort of PP from the way he played the flop. Is this an easy push? An easy fold?

Re: PP 50 NL 6 max JTs
this smells like a nine, not much like a PP, i think the average player bets there PP here for info and c/r only with the nine, A9 or suited K9 would be my guess since he called oop, but it is only four handed, against a random hand your draw is ahead, but against any hand with a 9 in it your only 25 percent to win so it boils down to pot odds IMO, 26 in pot now, cost you 12 to draw and your 3-1 dog, so get out now 1.6 to 1 just doesnt cut it, this may be one place where i check behind on flop maybe 40 percent of the time and c bet the other 60
ps: if you really think that villain has a PP with the way he played it and its lower then the board, then you must call, against just an underpair you will win the hand about 55 percent of the time but if you believe A9, K9, Q9s J9s or T9s and 98s plus PP below the board are in his range, then again you must call because your pot equity is about 44 percent and you will win the hand 42.5 percent of the time, based on those numbers I SHOVE, THIS IS ONLY if you believe that villain would play this line with 77-22, which IMO seem unlikely and it seems much more likely that villains range is exactly A9 K9 Q9s, J9s or T9s or 98s |
