Re: 4/180 Sweat
havin 4/180 probs as well
last one i played i cashed but only got 13th due to pushing with KT with about...6 BB and a smaller stack called with 44 and it held, putting me with about 2000 UTG with 600/1200 blinds. i build my stack to about 6000 but UTG i pushed in 800/1600 two cards that connected, not only did KT behind me pushes, so did AK, and finally Q9 called in BB...flopped the gutshot but missed... |

In fact, what I've been doing is 3 tabling, and if I bust in one then I fire up another unless I'm deep in one of the remaining tournys. If nothing else, this helps me keep variance in perspective. It's a lot easier to take a bad beat deep in one tourny when I have another going well. And I am getting much more used to my dominating hands getting cracked, as is bound to happen playing so many hands. Even an 80% favorite loses 1 in 5 times. And since you have to double up 4.5 times to get to the final table with a better than average stack in these . . . |

Re: 4/180 Sweat
Jeff,
You and I do exactly the same thing. It helps detilt for sure, and starts to put poker/MTTs in a little persepctive. Also, if I start to make a run/go deep in one...I'm usually busted out of one or two and can focus on it more. |
