Default Flopped bastard straight from the BB

Just sat down and this was the first hand. No reads.

Standard river, but I'm basically looking for comments on the betting.

Bet the turn harder. Check/call the river if its reasonable.

My only comment on the betting is that you should pot the turn and hope to get raised. Your blocker bet is a good size.

This one, without reads, is pretty close between calling and folding, but I'm folding. Here's why: I can't see too many unknowns raising this river without a King or the backdoor flush, but villain may have just spiked two-pair or hold an 8. The thing is that you made a blocker bet and got raised, which to me says "fold".

It will cost you $3 to win $10.60. So, you have to be good ~30% of the time. You could call here and probably not lose too much in the long run, but I don't think a call is profitable long term.
