College Kids: When do you play the most poker online?

I don't really think the average college student is better at poker than the average within the gerenal population. Does somebody studying biology or history or ploitical science really have an advantage? I am doing a PhD in Neuroscience and i dont think that helps me at all!

I was clocking an average 60 hours a month when I was at school full time, over the summer Im lucky if I get out 40 hours a month, I would have thought it was the other way. Poker and summer just dont mix for me really.

I played in a million cash games/small tourneys with college kids. While they would sometimes make an effort to study poker and play well, they would just digest information wrong and totally suck. Booze and weed didnt help them any either. At the lower limits online Im pretty sure many fish are college students and donate more than their non-college counterparts, mommys credit card holla.

I think it depends on your major. I'd much expect a Comp Sci major to not only understand odds, but to actually play using that knowledge a hellova lot better than say a marketing major.

I dont know why everyone thinks college kids are funding online poker. Possibly the lower stake games. But the real fish (middle limits) need to drop a few g's in a day, then come back and do it in a couple days. I dont know one college student with this kind of money.

I'm currently a senior in Industrial Engineering at my college, and this summer I was playing 4-5 hours a day, where as now that classes are in I can only play about an hour a day if that, except weekends which I have more time to play.

Not in college anymore, but 90% of the poker I've played online in the last two years has involved me being stoned as a goat. I'm not a pro, but I've made very nice supplemental income.

I think we've all been in this boat.... My girlfriend is getting more and more understanding with the poker thing... definite plus!

Yeah, but the marketing/business major is going to be much better at seeing the big picture, not to mention BR management.

im not in college anymore but i saw a ton of people playing poker in computer labs and the library in between classes. i often missed class after getting into a really good game when i only planned to play for an hour.
