...why not call with roughly on the whole winning somewhere give or take~ 50% of the time, splitting 20%, and losing 30% of the time?

[/ QUOTE ]

If that were true, I'd have insta called. However, there is NO way I am winning 50% and splitting 20%.

[/ QUOTE ]

Krusty, I see the error of my ways. I originally meant to say you are splitting 50% of the time and winning 20%.

I think the flop is not quite drawy enough for a bad player to push with AA here. I think if it was KQJ with two diamonds, or JT9 twotone or something you will often see a bad player just open-push with AA. But on this flop, I think you're winning more than you're losing.

yeah, obviously this guy's got balls where are yours? make the call you've got a real good hand... also, why no re-raise preflop? i see no scenario where taking it to $100 doesn't make your life a hundred times easier

i love how all the weaktights are giving him a perfect tag range of everything beating us and nothing we beat.

this guy probably has TT-KK and is sick of getting overcarded.

a 3.7 agg factorover a vpip of 55 is maniacally aggressive. you cannot fold TPTK to him.

Despite getting almost 1:1 on our money, with it factored in, id say we are getting closer to maybe even 2:1.

does having the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] sway anyone's fold decision to a call decision? The times we split, he's still freerolling us at least 1/3 of the time.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hopefully it's obvious that I insta call with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

However, if I hold AKo with the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I probably fold even more. The reason is that if I hold the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], then it's less likely my opponent is going for a flush draw since he himself does not have the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. By eliminating some of the probability of a flush draw, the chances of him holding AA automatically go up (those percentage points have to be filled somewhere). And, his chances of AA go up a lot more than what you gain by the chance of you hitting runner-runner nut flush.
