Default Standard Check-Raise?

Pretty standard check-raise? Yes?

My thinking is that the Button would assume that the blinds would have semi-trash, so the raise asserts my pair even though I have a crappy kicker.

I'd just bet the flop.

I would fold this preflop, most likely. Betting the flop is much better than check/raising, but I think check/folding might be the best. The pot is so small.

I like it. I wouldn't say it is standard but if you have a read on button saying he is going to bet this is a good way to protect your hand. Assuming button doesn't have a Q you're good. Nice lead on the turn too. Nice hand overall.

BTW, you don't have top pair, you have second pair. Maybe I misunderstood though.
