I wondered that also. I called a friend to come over and didn't tell her the story. When she came in I asked her if she smelled anything. Either she is being nice or it is gone.

My brother made fishsticks once. He put em in the pan and then decided to take a shower. From my room I smelled the burning and warned my brother who had forgotten all about them. He was about 25 when this happened.
