Hand 1, ugh, rough spot to be in. I think you did fine.

Hand 2, I don't like leading the flop. He probably won't call with anything you beat. I fold it as played.

Hand 3, I play it the same way.

Most poker hands are, but that doesn't mean we're always as observant as we should be. I'm certainly not.

My results would improve if I could give a read on every hand, but there's still value in discuss how to play a given hand against a "default" opponent for these stakes.

Hand 1 value bet turn.

Hand 2 I prefer checking and letting them tell me what they have instead of telling them what I have first.

Hand 3 Bet way closer to pot on the flop. Make him have a big hand if he wants to continue.

Why aren't you pushing the turn in hand 1 if you are going to bet?

I do. Just saying in reraised pots, top pair pairing where top pair isn't high broadway isn't as big of a deal. Ten is closer, but way less scary than k or q pairing.

Why? To get the hands we crush to fold, and make it easy for the hands that crush us to get all the money in? What hands that beat us are we getting to fold with that bet? Pocket aces is the only possibility. After that turn card this is a WA/WB situation. I either lead weak, or check to induce a bluff from the hands we beat. We will definately see a ten a fair amount of time, but I think finding a way to get to showdown with all the money in is +EV.

Because we have 33 behind and the pot is 32.50?
