I'd really like you to explain this a little more, beset, as perhaps I've been missing a whole part of my game. you say 'this flop sucks' and he has no redraws?
First, its not really a draw heavy board. Sure every omaha board has draws, and its a drawing game, but this is as good as it gets for top set on the flop. The turn completes no draw whatsoever. Since when did having trips against crappy draws require 'redraws?' |

i fold the river unless villain would be someone who could bluff in this spot, bút even then Id probably fold.

I think you played it just fine apart from the call on the river. There is nothing wrong with the bet on the turn as it got a call out of someone with only 2 outs.
Whilst it also may be true that he would have called a pot bet on the turn, just because he got there doesn't make the turn bet bad. He didn't have even slightly close to correct odds to call, and had the river come low, he would have called a value bet on the river as well. Your call on the river, was bad though. As if there is one thing people do, it's play hands with an ace in. |
