After looking at my stash and chips in front of me and have firmly told myself (about 20 times) to get up and leave because I can barely keep my eyes open - I will inevitably flop a medium pair hand and play it senselessly only to be beaten badly. All of my nights work gone in about 3.5 minutes and I'm back to my original buy-in or worse because I was too tired to listen to myself. I can't seem to break this terrible habit. You need to quit poker altogether. You aren't cut out for it. If you hate flopping "small sets, small flushes" then it's time to leave the green felt altogether.

This is my problem as well. I can play marathon sessions live, but online is a different story. I always think, "i have already won two buy ins and thats more than most people make in a day, I should just quit and go play golf/eat/x-box."

I suck at NL, so when I go into berserk mode I don't know how to turn it off. I usually win like a buyin from winning every pot for a few hours then give away like a buyin and a half when someone raises me and I'm still playing some "THAT'S MY POT" poker and I put in too much.

when i raise something like AJ, get a caller and the flop comes KQx. i just had one of those, except somehow i won when he called my flop bet with AT...
