Default 88 hand, 5/10 6-max vs. GimmeNutz

Villain is GimmeNutz, 58/35/1.5, sort of insane.

I don't remember if I'd been opening a lot, but probably. I've raised his donk lead before and he's folded.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero ($1018.50)
SB ($3653.18)
BB ($1280.25)
UTG ($985)
MP ($1459)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $5.
2 folds, Hero raises to $35, SB (poster) calls $30, 1 fold.

Flop: ($80) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $65, Hero raises to $220, SB raises to $375, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $675

I just call that first bet. Raising doesn't accomplish much.

He gets inflated pt numbers cause he minraises a lot preflop.

Pretty sure he actually plays pretty straightforward though.

Maybe if buyins were 200BBs. I think you would just get reraised a lot.

Yeah, he plays pretty straightforward - I suggest staying off tables with him.

downtown - don't ever raise this flop, and don't fold here either.

in most situations i understand this logic...but look at his stats and AF. he could be leading tons of hands here that we are ahead of and will probably not slowdown on any diamond, 2, 4, or 7. we should probably consider worrying about a 5/6 as well. so against this guy on this board(i'm judging solely from numbers i've never played him) i think we can raise - but i'm not so sure folding to a 3-bet is best.
