Does Party charge juice for the rebuy? If they don't then it really serves no purpose to Party and those on limited roll are at a HUGE disadvantage. If they do, then there is no reason to fix the bug

No juice (but I think Multipoker has rake on rebuys). The benefit would be that prize pools become larger and the tournaments become more attractive because of this.

Wow I never knew that you could do that. Of course it's a bug. I can jump into any $1 rebuy tournament and pillage the whole tourney.

a) You will not be the only doing it
b) At some point the cost will not be justified by the potential winnings. I have been in rebuys where one guy does it like crazy and has to finish 1st-3rd (out of hundreds) to even make a profit.

There are $5+R MTT qualifiers to the Monster with a rather amusing structure, however. It's a normal MTT, except the top 3 get seats in the Monster, and $1.50 from every buyin is taken out for Monster rake. They also take $1.50 Monster rake out of every rebuy and addon -- and no matter how many people play, or how much they rebuy and addon, the tournament awards exactly 3 Monster seats. And people play these things anyway...

Since anyone can do it and it is part of Party's software, it is not cheating.

[/ QUOTE ]

So if there was a product that u can see other peoples whole cards, It wouldent be cheating? Since any one eles can do it too?

[/ QUOTE ]

The poker client is not 3rd party software.

..the obvious thing to do is push all-in against any baby stack that dares to call and be in a pot with you, and rebuy.

So, you wouldn't be suprised to hear you're not the first to discover this, right Mr. Columbus?

each subsequent chip is worth less than the last in a tournament. The best way to take advantage of this bug is to let others exploit it.

So where is the line between a "normal" rebuy or addon making sense and the "abuse" of this bug?

When is rebuying/adding on +EV despite each additional chip having less value?
