Flat calling and checking the hand down would be a break-even bet against a made flush. If further money goes in and MP has a made flush (he flat called after all), then you would be laying 2:1 on an even money bet.
Put simply,play if you think MP does not already have you beat.

Thank you guys. Just needed to check as I am running pretty bad and always seem to be getting my money in with the 2nd best hand these days.

I pushed and they both showed flushes, board didn`t pair, now I get drunk!
