I just paid my 6mo lease upfront. Then the next year lease they let me pay mo by mo.

I got an apt in TX w/o a job and only poker as my income. I said as much on the application and came with screen shots of my neteller and wellsfargo bank accts which I would be using to pay rent. I didnt have to pay any extra or anything in advance. I would say bring your tax return, but who knows how much poker you filed on there. Also, if you have good credit already lack of current employment shouldnt matter too much.

That's great, but I imagine most apt. complexes won't really accept income from illegal activities as proof of income.

Yeah, I mean its not as if the fedral govt. will let you declare this as your profession and report the income or anything. oh no, wait, nm.

you may be right, i don't make enough from poker to declare it on my taxes. i would just be surprised if most apt. complexes would go for this.
