Kill Phil was a pretty good book on mostly accumulating chips.

It's good for long ball, but most of the time, you don't hit long ball situations with a lot of frequency. You've gotta have good, solid small ball play to go with long ball strategy.

Lindgren's book is the only one I have read that specifically advocates the "chip accumulation" style. But it deals more with the attitude you must take and some general situations you will find yourself in than with specific play of hands. Perhaps Negreanu's Power Hold-em book will address this in more detail if it ever comes out, but this sort of style is difficult to describe in a book because it is so depended on your opponents' style, position, and chip stack sizes.

My impression was that Kill Phil has little to nothing to do with chip accumulating. It's basically double up or bust out. The strategy is for someone who's playing out of their league. Sure, a quick double up will accumulate chips but busting out by pushing small to negative EV situations is not a good way to accumulate chips.
