3/6nl live hand Deep Stacks vs lag/blufftard
Before we start some back ground information about the villain and me. The two of us have been butting heads all night. I've taken probably 1200 of him. He's in for about 3k. He had been bluffing it up all night, once I called 200 on the river with 2nd pair no kicker against his bluffed flush draw. And once I called 400 on the flop with Ace high, ace high good!
His pfr range is very wide, any ace, pocket pair, suited connector, two face cards, are all worth raises in his book. In this hand; I'm button with $2400 hes oop with 1400 He raises up to 30 pf I call on the button with QJs Flop comes AQT two hearts (not my suit) he checks, I check through turn is Q he checks, I bet 50 River comes off suit 4 He pushes for everything I get confused.... Can I call here? I know I can fold easily, theres no money in the pot, but hes a habitual bluffer. I saw him over bet push bluff probably 6 times in 5 hours. |

Re: 3/6nl live hand Deep Stacks vs lag/blufftard
I would probably fold preflop. I don't play a marginal/drawing hand against a loose aggressive player. (However, if he limps, I would have raised here)
How many times did he overbet/push in 5 hours? Were those 6 times that he showed his hand or you just guessed? You probably can run some math to find out the ratio. I would bet more on the turn, probably pot size bet. Overall, I am leaning toward calling. I would pay him off if he had flopped a straight or nailed a 4 on the river |
