Im in the greatest game in the history of poker. I mainly play 40-80 an 25-50 but the Nl game was the best ive seen in a while....on to the hand.
Hero-bought in 3k....2nd hand..i know all players are lagtard except one. Villian in the hand has me covered. 8 limpers(god i love this game) to the BB who raises 50. ALL CALL. (told u the game was sick) .Me 89o in late position.
Flop is a beautiful Jh 10c 7h
BB bets 200, EP1 calls, EP2(villian) calls.... i raise to 1200 straight....too much, too little or just right? Been a while since i played in a real NL game.

There is 1200 in the pot after you call the bet. So A raise of 1000 is fine.

I have to start going back there now! oh wait there is no bigger game than 5-10 and 40-80 and I have crushed those games were nobody wanted to play short with me. I think I was the biggest winner in that casino for a 6 month period

i'd raise it smaller to get more than one caller. potting it gets you HU or it folds around, doesnt matter how sick the game is, they aren't putting a grand in all at once without a hamd. make it like 900, they are far more likely to put in 600 more, and if they have a set they probably push. its not like you are worried about a redraw.
