How good is this from time to time? Are the stack sizes too big to do this? (Villain is 44/14 so far over just 27 hands)

I think stacks are too big for this kind of shove. This hand would obv be more effective in position. If I do want to get all my money in, I would most likely check raise the flop to around $60, then push on turn. You will have similar FE, but much more value in this play IMO.

More value because if he folds the turn villain has put an extra $40 in the pot.
