Would a side strategy of hammering home to Senators the hypocracity in exempting so obviously an addictative, TOTALLY dependent on LUCK, yet EXEMPTED enterprise from this Bill, be worth persuing? They wouldn't dare pass this bill without the lottery or horse racing being exempted... ---Leavenfish |

lol why do you need to play the lottery if you just stole $2.3 million dollars. This bitch gets an instant induction into the Degenrate Gambler Hall of Fame.

Wow.
But let's be honest here. Not that I condone her actions or am happy that they took place, but given that she was going to steal all that money to degenerately gamble it away, don't we all wish someone had told her about PartyPoker? |

That's the nature of 'addiction'. It might just be that our best best is an 'end around' by getting proponents of the bill to feel that it needs to be ammended to include playing the lottery online (and horse racing). It could not survive such ammendments. ---Leavenfish |

The Nevada representative proposed this amendment, which was quickly and correctly labelled a "poison pill" by its proponents. It was quickly voted down. cheers, -highland |

Would need Mr. K or Berge20 to chime in, but I think that is the case. |

Many a bill has been killed by a poison pill...we just have to get the right Senator to administer the thing. If it's some 'nut', people will probably not take it seriously...but if it were an established non-nut of a Senator...then we might have something.

That is pretty &(#$@ up. F |
