Default HU game - 64o flopps bottom two

Only 20 hands on villain, so no reads worth mentioning.

0.25/0.50 NLHE 6-max (2 players)

Stacks:
Hero - $108
Villain - $62

Hero is on the Button w/ 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero posts a blind of $0.50. Villain posts a blind of $0.25.

Preflop - Villain calls, Hero checks.

Flop - 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villain bets $1, Hero raises to $3, Villain raises to $11, Hero..........?

Anyone NOT push here? Why or why not?

I call after thinking a few secs - and wait for villain to bet the turn, unless I'm confident that villain will call off another $50ish if I push.

a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] might squash the action, but it isn't coming that often and I want all of his chips in the middle. I think that villain might run away if I push here outright - so I'd aim to tease his stack in a little more slowly.

No way in hell am I not taking this to the felt.

Villain's already indicated that he really really likes his hand by 3-betting here. You really think the average villain is folding to a push?

I'm more concerned that this may be a "he'll only call with hands that beat you" scenerio.

the only thing I'm getting from you (if we are drawn to play each other) is all your chips.

like the buster said - do whatever you gots to do to get all-in.

2pair is a monster HU hand - hell one pair is pretty huge.

If I think he'll call a raise I raise the flop, If I'm pretty sure he'll call a push I'll push the flop.

Usually I'm calling the flop and waiting to raise his turn bet as we are in position.

This is a relative unknown so make the most of your big hand now - if you were playing a HU donkament with non escalting blinds and a large enough stack, with enough time to totally figure out this guy then you'd play it differently here most likely.

I think you almost always want to raise on the flop here, in case he has a draw, or a good 8x, lots of cards can come on the turn that will keep you from stacking him.

However, against certain villains I might make a raise less than pushing, like to $33 or so, then the rest on the turn.

call, lead turn for ~16, call a push. or call, c/r turn AI, but either way, call flop.
