Default Bubble situation: JJ from EP

I was having a debate with a few friends on this hand. I advocate simply calling the raise in the following situation:

1173 started, top 130 cash and we're right on the bubble; I'm the biggest stack at the table with about 30,000 chips; blinds are 500/1000, no ante. UTG folds, UTG + 1 raises to 3,500 and he's got about 18,000 in front of him (The person who proposed this question did not provide a read). Several players behind me have over 15,000 chips, one with 24,000. I'm next to act in UTG + 2 with pocket jacks, what to do?

Edit: This is a small buy-in tournament whereby the prizes obviously are not very much until you get very deep.

I'm pushing JJ everytime as the big stack on the bubble.
